In the olden days, having a date and venue was enough information to send out a save the date. I soon realized that times are different and we needed a MVP website ready as it’s important to have the URL printed on the Save the Date. I was planning on building a custom website, but realized Zola was goo enough — a concept I was advised was important in the wedding planning process so as not to drive myself (or my fiance) crazy. Props to Zola for providing the option to disable google crawlers for a little internet privacy.
I drew and lettered the save the date front and back on my iPad using Procreate, as got them (affordably) printed beautifully by XXX in Oakland, CA after having a very ugly batch done by a traditional print shop.
